National Day of Prayer
Today is The National Day of Prayer and I am not really curious how many people are praying because I think a lot of people "pray"...I am more curious WHAT are people praying?
What are the desires of your heart that you are bringing to the Lord? I must confess my prayers are sometimes very self-centered, as I assume a lot of peoples are. I'm curious though...if just half of us prayed for our Nation, it's leaders, it's hurting people...WHAT could change? I suppose nothing could change, after all, God is the one in charge but I suspect a lot would change!
What would you pray for if you knew it would be answered? Would you pray for others or pray for yourself?
I'll end with this little question to ponder...If God answered ALL of your prayers within the last 30 days would anything in THE world change or just YOUR world?
